Helping Mataram Community Affected by Covid

Today, on August 16, 2021, a day before the celebration of the independence of Indonesia, Acsena Humanis Respons Team, with donations from Austria Help, held a distribution of basic foods to poor people affected Covid19 in Mataram, NTB.

According to a circular from the Government, many of them have lost their income due to the PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) or lockdown rules until August 23, 2021.

The assistance we provide is in the form of rice, cooking oil and fried noodles for people who really need it. For this reason, we chose one of the slum areas in Mataram City, namely Babakan village, where many people work as traders and welders who really lost their income during the COVID-19 pandemic.

That day we also had fun together with the Babakan Village children by distributing ice cream to around 60 children. I’m very happy to be able to help, even if it’s not much. For those of you who want to give donation, you can go through the Acsena Humanis Response Donation Page on the website https://acsena.org
